Activities

Workshops/Games for children - occasionally there are activities organized like; drawing/painting, making cookies, discos or night games in the forest.(high season)

Activities for adults - such as modelling in clay, ceramics, yoga or lessons in salsa.(high season)

Live music events - once in a while there are concerts of popular music or the spontaneous action from some of our collaborators or visitors.(high season)

Conferences - presentation about cultural, nature or artistical themes.(high season)

Mountain bikes - renting and organized excursions, guided by a bicycle instructor Can Banal is situated on the route of "ruta de BTT-Transpirenaica".(high season)

Horseback riding - at the neighbors property, Mas Vallmayor, 200m from Can Banal, excursions on horse back are offered. Another interesting place not far away is Can Jou horse trails.

Catalan donkeys- visit and take care of Can Banal's special pets - our Catalan donkeys (el burro catalá). "They will love that old leftover bread of yours!" (Observe though that they are not for mounting.)

Observe nature - Observe and study plants, insects and mammals. La garrotxa is geologically a very diverse area and is well known to botanists, bird lovers and butterfly experts to mention a few. The camp site and its surroundings have more than 30 species of wild orchids, most of them blossoming in spring.

Mushroom picking - for those who like to come in autumn, on the very campsite and in the surroundings one can go and look for different types of mushrooms.
